Berhoz Erdal, the leader of HPG: recent attacks failed
miserably and Kurdish forces, ready for any Turkish attacks

Berhoz Erdal commander-in-chief of the Popular Defence Forces of Kurdistan said
that the Turkish air attacks on the legitimate defense areas under the control
of the Kurdish forces have failed absolutely to achieve any of its stated goals.
In an interview with him Erdal added that the attacks by the Turkish army did
not achieve any of its stated objectives and that the Turkish media promotes
lies and false news of fictitious victories against the Kurdish fighters.
Erdal continued that successful military operations carried out by Kurdish
fighters of Kurdistan defense Forces against the Turkish army in the areas of
Oramar and Gabar mountains caused great shock to the army and Turkish people
degraded the morale of the Turkish soldiers and thwarted Turkish campaign
efforts of hate and mobilization against the Kurds. Consequently, the recent air
attacks are to cover those losses and painful strikes and to show that the
Turkish army is taking the initiative in the war against the Kurdish fighters.
Erdal added that the Turkish army attacks are against the PKK and the Kurdish
people, pointing out the falsehood of the allegations that the Turkish army is
limiting the war against the PKK fighters, indicating that the Turkish air
strikes deliberately targeted the Kurdish villages population to intimidate them
and inflict the largest losses among civilians.
Erdal criticized the position of the United States of American in the crisis for
allowing Turkey to bomb areas of South Kurdistan, he said that Buyukanit the
Chief of Staff of the Turkish army said he is very happy, after the air strikes,
and this shows the frustration and lack of resourcefulness suffered by this man
and his army. The American intelligence and logistical help for Turkey started a
long time ago. The United States has assisted Turkey in implementing the
international conspiracy against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan. But the
question here is: What did Buyukanit do with the American information? What he
achieved? What he benefited from these information?. Was he able to eliminate
the Kurdish revolt? Was he able to hit the PKK fighters and inflict losses to
them?.
Erdal added, that the statements by Buyukanit and other leaders of the Turkish
army are in fact, designed to deceive the Turkish public opinion that there was
progress in the fight against the PKK. The commanders of the Turkish army
previous statements repeated the same lies that Buyukanit states now. But what
was the result? The result is that they are gone and the PKK remained, the
Kurdistan Defense Forces remained and expanded its power, support and numbers of
its fighters. .
At the end of his interview, Berhoz Erdal the commander-in-chief of the People
Defence Forces of Kurdistan said that the Kurdish forces are ready to face any
attack and retaliate against Turkey. Explaining that there is the possibility
that the Turkish army forces will wage attacks mall and large against the HPG
fighters and their bases in the coming period, but all are doomed to failure as
