A demonstration in Damascus to commemorate
the international human rights day.

The Kurdish Yekiti Party and the Kurdish Future Movement have announced that a
demonstration will be held in Damascus at Saturday December the 10th at the
seven seas square (Sahet Sebaa Bahrat) in front of the Central Bank the west
side.
The demonstration is a protest against human rights abuses in Syria and the
impact of the state of the emergency on human rights and also the practice of
torture and ill-treatment in prisons and related state security divisions, and
the impunity of perpetrators.
The parties are demanding freedom and democracy
and also a democratic solution for the Kurdish issue through constitutional
recognition of the Kurds in Syria.
The parties are calling all the human rights
movements and organizations to participate in the demonstration and also all the
media to pay attention on this demonstration to let the Syrian regime that the
world is watching to prevent any brutal actions against the demonstrators.
