Kurdistan DBX Trade Show 2005

Today, Motorola (NYSE:MOT)
successfully concluded their participation in the Kurdistan DBX Trade Show 2005
as a Platinum sponsor.
The tradeshow took place from 15 - 18 September in the city of Holer (Erbil),
the capital of the federal region of Iraqi Kurdistan which was organized by the
Iraqi-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
'This was an important milestone on the road to reform and revitalization. We
are very satisfied with the broad attention we experienced during the past days,
and the valuable contacts we made. Through our participation in this first
international trade show in free Iraq, we were delighted to reinforce our
long-term commitment to help with the reinvigoration of the country of Iraq and
the federal region of Kurdistan', said Mazin Al-Eshaiker, Country Manager for
Motorola in Iraq.
'The purpose of Kurdistan DBX Trade Show was to provide opportunities for Iraqi
companies to directly interface with foreign companies in Iraq. We are very

importance of DBX Kurdistan,' explained Raad Ommar, CEO of Iraqi-American
Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the tradeshow, all of Motorola's businesses were showcasing their latest
technology, comprising mobile phones, cellular networks, mission-critical
communications equipment and connected home solutions. Motorola demonstrated its
commitment to making seamless mobility a reality for customers in Iraq, by
showing state-of-the-art products for GSM, WLL-CDMA, iDEN, APCO25 and TETRA
networks, as well as broadband communications solutions and cable modems.
Motorola and its local partners have been supporting customers in Iraq since
April 2003 with mission-critical radio communications for public safety and
other applications, as well as equipment that has provided mobile phone service
to more than two million subscribers.
Motorola is uniquely positioned to provide timely and effective implementation
of IT and communications solutions addressing a broad range of immediate and
longer-term needs that include security and public safety, and extend to the
utilities sectors (oil, water, and electric power generation and distribution),
education and health care institutions (schools, clinics, hospitals),
transportation industry (railroad signalling and communications, ports,
airports, waterways) and the broader (and evolving) communications sector.
