Turkish Murderers Love The People They Kill In Amed

Amed, (Northren Kurdistan).  According to AFP, Turkey's top military official on Monday delivered a warning to the people of Amed to distance themselves from Kurdish freedom fighters as he set foot in the Kurdish city.

General Hilmi Ozkok, the chief of general staff of the Turkish junta, blamed the uprising on March 28 on provocations by Kurdish freedom fighters who have been fighting the Turkish army since 1984.

Ozkok stated that the murderous Turkish army loves the people of  occupied Northern Kurdistan.

Ozkok visited Amed as part of a tour to inspect troops in occupied Northern Kurdistan, where a long period of  calm suppression was shattered in June 2004, when the PKK called off a five-year unilateral ceasefire.

The violence has raised fears of conflict at a time when stability, even if it is repressive, is critical to Turkey's bid to join the European Union.

The government has vowed to continue fighting the PKK.  This comes with the blessing of the EU and United States, who consider the 18 million Kurds in Northern Kurdistan as terrorists.
