150 Person Has Applied To The Van Research Hospital

VAN, Kurdistan-Turkey Jan 8 (DIHA) - In the region which the panic of bird influenza has continued 150 person has applied to the Van Research Hospital, and 35 person has been taken under treatment for suspicion of bird influenza. The Dermatology department of Hospital has been emptied for deficiency of place.

The panic of bird influenza which had caused death of 3 people and emerged in the Dogubeyazıt district of Van still continues.The head doctor of Van yuzuncu Yıl Research Hospital Huseyin Avni Sahin said that 150 person from near cities and districts has applied to the hospital. Sahin who stated that 35 person has been taken under treatment for suspicion of bird influenza takes attention to 25 patient who came from Dogubeyazıt. It was stated that the dermatology department of the hospital was emptied for the deficiency of the place and the holiday of the personell of the hospital has been cancelled.

Killing of winged animals continue

The killing of winged animals which has started in Van 3 days ago still continues. Hundreds of winged animals had been perished in the works conducted by teams from City Agriculture Directorate and City Health Directorate. By morning it was seen that many dead winged animals was found near the roads and were collected by the teams.
