Barzani: Kirkuk is a Kurdish City, We Are Not
Intimidated by Turkish Threat

President of Kurdistan region Mr. Massoud Barzani said that the city of Kirkuk
is Kurdish city and will not fear threats from Turkey and the Turkish position
is merely an election propaganda.
This came in a statement to the Office of the Presidency of the region,
according to the statement he met today, Sunday, January 21 with deputies,
ministers in Parliament and the regional government., he said during the
meeting "We will not fear Turkish threats and it has no significance for us and
we know it is election propaganda, we refuse it in any shape and form.
Stressing that Kirkuk is part of Kurdistan region.
The President of the region emphasized the need to implement Article 140 of the
Constitution and eradication of Arabization in Kirkuk and Khanaqin, Sinjar,
Mosul and Diyala and other areas in Kurdistan of Iraq.
