Militarized Democracy = Turkish Style Democracy

Turkey as member of NATO got a lot of military and economical help from western countries. Especially, it was very essential during cold was era. However, the things are changed and civilized world can see that how Turkish State and ties are criminal against his own people.

The truth is deception based on their militarized power over democracy for more power

And total control of society. This is kind of very particular fascism which hiding him from civilized world. It shows himself as a preventative of democratic, secular and free community. On the other hand, there are hundred thousands killed people in civil war,

Massacres, illegal executions (there is no legal execution on constitution since 1980), to empty the villages, disappeared people, destroy the villages by chemical bombs like Saddam did. There is no mercy or any apologize to Christian or Jewish minorities for the past pogroms against them.  

He is the most powerful and only authority since 1920’s in Turkey. The Turkish Military Forces (TMF) was never secular, as western people understand. It means Turkey cannot be representative of Muslim country just because of dressing or alphabet change at one day.  In deep, especially Turkish-Sunni fundamentalist religious groups has been also protected or also used against others. There are only few examples of how Shii-Alevis people massacred at Corum, Maras and Sivas cities. Bulent Ecevit who was Prime Minister of Turkey during the 1978. Marash massacre cost almost 500 lives. He tried to explain that there is a contra-guerilla behind the incident. But, he said he could not able to explain all the details. Because it is very clear that Turkish Fascist Movement, Fundamentalists, And also contra-guerilla group directly controlled by TM and Intelligence Services.

It is very interesting to know some details about to Maras Massacres. There was a guy had very imported position to start massacre and his name was Okkes Kenger. He has not been arrested for a long time. After long time he change his last name as a “Sendiller” and in 1990’s he become senator from another fascist party in Congress. 

There is a big illusion on some Turkish democrat or intellectuals about to TM. They think TM is only group which is support democratic and secular society forever. That’s not true. It is very clear that Turkish Military supported all the time Turkish Fascist Movement against the any other minorities or groups. In spite of very strong evidences, none of generals arrested yet. It is ridiculous that Turkey- TM has been fight against own people since 1920’s. They have been destroyed democratic society at least 3 times (1960, 1971 and 1980). The most powerful fascist party in Turkey (called MHP- Nationalist Movement Party ).Which do they directly control by them. When Alparslan Turkes who the retired lieutenants and ex-leader of MHP arrested 1980 military coup said, “we are inside our thought outside”.

In summary, because of some essential reasons Turkish military cannot absorb to democratic society. First of all, they are still thinking their absolute power over democratically elected civilian governments and they did not trust any parties or political organizations. Second, Turkish Army bases on very deep and racial profile, which is ignoring all the minorities and differences in Anatolia. Third TM is totally controlling freedom of speech and also freedom of research and education system at schools, colleges, and universities or at any other private or governmental institutes. Fourth, TM did not appear or apologize to democratic society because of their crime against the populations, minorities, and any political opposition. There are more than thousands people disappeared, mass murdered killed, imprisoned by their involvement. None of generals or high-level person arrested yet. Also, it is very clear that Cont-guerilla, official fascist or fundamental parties that funded by TM used for the mass murders of political opponents and other minorities such as; Kurdish, Christians, Jewish or Alevis. Fifth, TM is very provocative and opportunistic organization, which is offering extraordinary life for his members. Whether they are still active or retired, have a luxury life, high salary, and very aristocratic and distinguished life in spite of Turkey’s economical crisis. 

Turkish Military thinks that they heritages to rule the Turkey. But, this is not true. The racially named country Anatolia cannot belong to one race – one religions forever. Sooner or later crash will come up.
