Kurdish Official: Flights To And From Arbil-Frankfort Start Next Month

Peyamner- Mar 3, 2005- New Kurdistan newspaper announced that in the foreseeable future several travel agencies in the airport of Arbil would make visas and flight tickets available for purchase. Next month, air space between Arbil-Frankfort and Arbil-Baghdad will become available for travel.

Flights to and from Arbil-Lebanon and Arbil-Istanbul will also be available soon. Substitute minister of travel Rashad Omar announced air fair prices to and from Arbil-Oman: $365.00, to Dubai: $370.00, to and from Dubai: $570.00 and to and from Lebanon: $1200.00.

Arbil has funded a foreign construction company with 150 million dollars to build a second airport, which is to be completed in a 22-month period.
