First Exhibition in Capital of KDP-administered Southern Kurdistan

(The Kurdistan Observer) Feb 6, 2002. An exhibition of Iranian manufacturing goods and equipment has been held for the first time in Erbil, the Capital of the KDP-held region of Southern  Kurdistan, reported Kurdish sources yesterday.

More than 50 companies and cooperatives participated in the exhibition displaying a large selection of appliances, electronics, computers, building materials, food materials, household equipment, agricultural equipment, automobile spare parts, etc.

The exhibition was opened ceremoniously by Nechirvan Barzani, the 
prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
