OPEN LETTER
TO KURDISTAN "DE FACTO STATE AND GOVERENMENT"

The Kurdistan Observer- By: Hadi ELIS-   Mar 3, 2002

Dear Editor,

The Greatest Gift to the Kurdish Nation this Newroz will be the declaration of Independence at UN General Assembly at the very Newroz Day, March 21 2002.

I Wish and Hope the Kurdish Leadership currently "Politically" described inside the borders of Republic of Iraq, will act according to "Hearts and Minds" of Kurdish Nation.

I am sending this to you as an open letter to Kurdish De Facto State and its Government.

Hadi ELIS

---------
Open letter to Kurdistan "de facto state and government"

I am a Kurd and it does not matter which part and which city I am from. I am a Kurd, and that’s’ it.
I am following the Kurdish National Struggle for Peace-Democracy-Human Rights and Self-Determination in every "occupied land of Kurdistan" east-west, north-south for a long enough time.

Iraqi-occupied Kurdistan is in its second opportunity to be an independent state.

I am encouraging you to declare your Independent, and tell you that all Kurds from all over the world will be with you, supporting you in this matter, it is up to you to act in this matter according to the rights of Kurdish nation as a stateless nation to become a nation with a state or nation-state.

I remember the Mulla Mustafa Barzani, and I firmly believe that if he were able to see this day, he would declare independence long time ago.
I remember Ibrahim Ahmad
I remember Dr Qassemlou
I remeber Idris Barzani
I remember Dr Shiwan
I remember Dr Sadiq Sharafkandi

and I know about Qazi Muhammad, Shaikh Mahmood Barzenji, Shaikh Said Piran, Sayyid Reza, Simko...

And many other great Kurdish heroes and martyrs of struggle of survival, to be a Kurd and to stay a Kurd.

I am asking you On my behalf and i believe there are millions with me in the same feelings and believe that its time to declare statehood.

After so many sufferings from genocide, ethnic cleansing, Anfals, massacres, destruction etc. I do not believe the possibility of Kurds living in Iraq as a federal state or bi-national state or any other form of state to keep Kurds living in Iraq.

It is 21st Century now, and no more centuries can pass by keeping Kurds without a state.

Dear Leaders,

The greatest gift you can give to Kurdish nation this Newroz is the declaration of independence of Kurdistan democratic republic.

Wish you the best

Truly Yours
Hadi ELIS
