Turkey's State Sponsored Terrorism

It's disheartening to watch the world once again is turning a blind eye to
the horrendous crimes and acts of terrorism committed by Turkish state against
Kurdish people in north of Kurdistan. While the world's leading powers seems
to be unified in the fight against terrorism, it continues to be hypocritical
and double standard when it comes to Turkish state sponsored terrorism against
Kurdish people.
The recent al-Qaida style car bombing in Semdinan, Kurdistan by Turkish
intelligence "MIT" and "ozel tim" thugs was a failed state sponsored terrorist
operation to gain US and world's support for Turkey to attack Kongera-Gel in
the south, also to shift the focus on Barzani's visit to the white house.
These types of sick Turkish tactics are not something new but rather as old as
the rotten bones of Kemal Attakopek.
It became more active during the eighties when PKK's struggle reached
it's peak. Turkish military and intelligence operated jointly in Kurdish
cities to terrorize Kurdish people through raids on Kurdish villages and
cities disguising as PKK guerilla members. Turkish intelligence had actively
conducted thousands of kidnappings of civilians suspected of been affiliated
with the PKK, Kurdish activists, and Kurdish intellectuals.
In the early nineties Turkish intelligence established, financed and
trained an Islamic terrorist network in north of Kurdistan to be used later
against PKK in order to create a division among Kurdish people, which was
allegedly linked to "Hisbullah" but Kurdish locals referred to them as "Sofics"
because of their religious affiliations. The Kurdish writer and journalist
Mosa Anter discovered the secret training camp set up in the Kurdish city of
Amed which was operated by Turkish intelligence to train those terrorists. Mr.
Anter was later kidnapped and murdered when he published an article and some
photos about this Turkish state sponsored terrorist training camp.
Furthermore, Turkey was actively involved in the terrorist activities against
Kurdish people out side of Kurdistan as well, in Europe and else where,
particularly during Ocalan's ordeal. Turkish intelligence used far right
Turkish extremists who are living in Europe to murder, and intimidate Kurdish
people. They burned down many Kurdish community centers and Kurdish privately
owned properties across Europe, including the Toronto Kurdish community center
in Canada.
The recent events which are taking place in the world's politics favoring
Kurdish interests; Kurdish progress in the south and the world's official
recognition for Kurdistan government; president Barzani's visit to the White
House, and UK has increased Turkey's anger and hatred towards Kurdish people.
What is really frustrating Turks is that their ineffective strategies to
prevent or even slow down this Kurdish progress. If the world is serious about
eliminating terrorism then all terrorists must be condemned without
exceptions, and they should commence with Turkey which is the biggest
terrorist state of all.
