Our Last Chance for a Kurdistan
By: Hariwan Kurdistani

We Kurds are
truly an intriguing people we have survived for 20,000 years in our homeland and
along the way, we have forgotten our way of fighting for our freedom, and have
become so much softer and obedient to the moral and ethics of the world while
the world has treated us so horribly. It is one thing to stand a decade of
horrible treatment but centuries that is another matter. The world has lost
their morals and ethical reasoning, while we still kept ours. This is an
admirable trait but it has cost us millions of Kurdish lives and we need to put
our interests in perspectives or we will truly be destroyed in the wake of an
unmoral world.
We have been
dictated by foreign enemy regimes that have used our brethren for there own
cause be it the west or our neighbours. They have gotten and used our loyalty
against us with excellent results. There is one thing that is missing from the
centuries of regimes and dictatorships that is or own united “Single” Kurdish
regime.
Since the nationalistic movements of the late and early 19th and 20th
century respectively there have been strong willed men who fought through the
corruption and world stigma and world powers to raise there own people and
insert in them a fire that set their souls on fire and thus let them create
their own state. It is our time right now; it is our last chance if we do not
put the needed power into one leader to push for our desired goals, it will be
too late. We still see infighting and decentralization of power to the people
when it is not time. If the current regimes do not solves their problems and
bickering and do not fuse together into one supranationalstic regime with only
the interest of the Kurds and Kurdistan, we will not be able to get what we
want.
The Arabs have taken the lives millions of our people and
they still expect us to make concession to their bloodthirsty people, will
enough is enough, and it is because we have weak leaders that can not say no to
our mortal enemies that we are now in a position where we may loose the little
we have. No one cares about the Kurds and Kurdish interest as much as the
Kurds, as we are forced to believe with all the sugar coating of the
constitutional talks. It is a matter of time before we are stabbed in back
again, we have seen it from the Americans a half a dozen times and I need not
mentions the Arabs. It is about time that we put together a formidable
force to deal with the oppressive world, which we live in presently.
We should put aside the rights of those
who fight against our cause because the millions that have died and that are
still dieing did not die in vain. The future is for the able and willing
and we are able and willing. We must not let this opportunity pass us by or we
will surely turn on our selves worse then before and our enemies will use our
divisions to the best of their abilities to kill our us and everything that we
stand for. There is no better time then the present we need to see what is
ours and grasp it without any shame or delay because those that wish to destroy
us do not and will not.
