General Staff started to cover the developments in the region following the agreement of Kurdish leaders Massoud Barzani and Jalal Talabani on Federal State.

Hoshyar Zebari, member of the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) responsible for international relations, said a military delegation from the Turkish General Staff arrived in Erbil on September 26 and met with the Kurdish administrators.

Meanwhile, it was reported that KDP leader Barzani would send a high ranking official to Ankara soon aiming to settle relations.
